Meet me in St. Louie Part 2

I love this pictures on some many different levels...We went to the Arch right after the City Museum so Sarah was already tired...but it just shows their personalities so much!

If you look really close you can see some windows...we got to go all the way up and look through those windows...

Meet me in St. Louie...

We recently took the girls on a vacation to St. Louis. We had heard from several different people that City Museum was THE place to visit. We were not disappointed. It is like a giant playground with 4 stories of climbing "things."

First we walked in and saw all of this...the girls wanted to check it all out...no idea where you will end up!

Daddy helping Sarah out!

Next was a skate park without skates. The girls (and Aaron) had fun running up the different hills and trying out the different things. This "bowl" was like a big slide. Sarah would go down, but not the top 2 ones.

Daddy is trying to convince Sarah to go down the biggest section...no luck!

Next was a really neat museum...it had all different things in...including this Egyptian statue...I wonder who is more hard headed....

Yes that would be Sarah doing back bends and cartwheels...

They got to go on a train ride though some of the exhibits.

Looking up at the giant staircase

Once it stopped raining we got to go outside on some more of the climbing "things." This one lead to an airplane that you could climb through and down to a slide. I am taking the pictures from a castle on the other side.

They are so lucky to have a daddy who does this stuff with them.

A bigger view of outside...

Going down one of the many slides outside.

I think you could spend several days at this place...it was a great place to have to girls go and use up some energy....Sarah fell asleep as soon as we got in the car...Mommy and Daddy wish they could have joined her.

4th of July

We had a laid back 4th of July...Aaron just came back from Mexico and we were leaving in a couple of day for St. Louis...so we just shot off a few firecrackers and hung out with each other :) The girls are getting so big and soon will be "too cool" for mom and dad...but for now we are enjoying that time with them...

After firecrackers we sat down and had some lunch and got ready to shot off a couple of fireworks. It will pale in comparision to the usual "Davis arsenol" but the girls had fun :)
