U of A Accounting Student of the Year!

Well normally I talk about the girls and what is going on with them, but today I get to talk about their Daddy. He has been working really hard to finish up school. I know it has to be very hard to go to school full time and still be a wonderful husband and father. Most of the other students are just that students. They haven't really had to step out of that role yet and be more. But he has. I thought about all of this at the banquet to honor him and several other of those students. As they were calling off the other students' achievements, I realized that many of Aaron's accomplishments are not things that can called off on stage to the applause of others. Things like having 2 healthy and well adjusted kids, putting his own dreams on hold to help raise those kids, being the leader of a house, balancing a budget on a teacher's salary (let's see the people in Washington do that!), and being a husband. You can't really stand on stage and say those things, but in reality many of those students will struggle with balancing just that job their first year, but Aaron he will soar! I tell him that I knew that when I married him he would do great things. I see those great things everyday, and I am so excited for the world to see them soon.
